St. Andrew's Episcopal Church hosts Lenten Bible study series

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will host Lenten Bible study each Wednesday evening leading up to Easter Sunday on Sunday, March 31.

The Bible study runs from 7-8:15 p.m. and is led by Rev. Dr. John G. Rumple.

The series is focused on the Sermon on the Mount.

The Wednesday, Feb. 27 study, the third in the series, will focuse on The Antithesis II, Matthew 5:30-48.

In this scripture, Jesus continues to contrast his interpretation of the Law with traditional approaches, focusing on topics of divorce and retaliation.

Other upcoming topics include True Religious Practice on March 6, Trusting God's Providence on March 13, Judging Others and Seeking God on March 20 and The Authority of Jesus on March 27.
