IU prof involved in Mars exploration analysis to speak Tuesday at DePauw

Dr. Lisa M. Pratt, who chairs the NASA Mars Exploration Analysis Group, will speak Tuesday afternoon at DePauw University.

Pratt, who is provost professor and chairs the Department of Geological Sciences at Indiana University, will address the topic "The Scientific Imperative for Seeking Evidence of Life on Mars."

Her 4:15 p.m. appearance in Watson Forum of the DePauw Media Center, located at the corner of Locust and Elm streets, is open to the public without charge.

Tuesday's visit by Dr. Pratt is made possible by the DPU Media Fellows and Science Research Fellows Honors Programs, along with the Departments of Geoscienses, Physics and Astronomy, Women in Science, Society of Physics Students and the Paul B. Kissinger Endowed Professorship.
