Jerry D. Shoemaker

Jerry D. Shoemaker, 65, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013.

He was born on April 1, 1947 in Putnam County to Rusty and Edith Shoemaker.

Jerry had owned and operated Jerry's Welding for many years.

Surviving are his children, Melissa York and husband David, Robert Shoemaker, and Richie Shoemaker and wife Lana; a sister, Wanda Lady; a brother, John Shoemaker and wife Sheila; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at Forest Hill Cemetery.

An avid motorcyclist, Jerry enjoyed many miles on his Harley and enjoyed treasure hunting.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
