Sandra J. Buis
Sandra J. Buis, age 72, of Spencer, passed away Monday morning, March 11, 2013 in the Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle.
Born July 7, 1940 in Marion County, she was the daughter of James and Olive Coleman.
She married Gary Buis, and he survives.
Sandra had worked in the DePauw University for 35 years as a baker.
She was a member of Cunot Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Cindy Scobee and husband Danny, Fillmore; sons Charles Buis and wife Rebecca, Coatesville, and Allen Buis, Carmel; a sister, Barbara Mundy, Cloverdale; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Timothy L. Buis, grandson Billy Comer, sister Mary Sage and foster parents Roy and Mary Bailey.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville. Services are set for at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Wesley McClure officiating.
Burial will follow in the Coatesville Cemetery.
