Jameson Brewer

Senior, North Putnam

Forward

The Player of the Year, Brewer improved his numbers across the board from his impressive junior season.

His totals in points (14.1 per game), rebounds (9.6 per game) and blocks (30) were all in the top-two of the county.

Jake Haste

Senior, North Putnam

Center

Haste quickly became a force inside for the Cougars, putting together numerous double-doubles this year.

His 65 percent from the field easily led the county.

Haste averaged 10.4 points and 7.9 rebounds.

Zach Dorman

Junior, Cloverdale

Forward

The runner-up for Player of the Year, Dorman missed the team's first eight games, then began lighting up the competition.

His per-game averages in points (17.5) and rebounds (10.0) both led the county.

Nick Gilliam

Senior, Greencastle

Forward

Gilliam carried a heavy load for the Tiger Cubs and became the most aggressive offensive player in the county.

He finished on a tear and closed his season averages at 11.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per.

He also took 4 charges.

Trey Moore

Junior, South Putnam

Guard-Forward

Moore is highly-skilled and took turns as a distributor and scorer this season. His 57 percent FG is more impressive since he spent so much time on the perimeter.

Moore averaged 13.4 and 6.8, and also had 44 assists and 23 steals.

Jordan Nauert

Junior, North Putnam

Guard-Forward

Nauert began the year as a shooter first, then stepped in as a distributor. His 38 percent from three-point range was second in the county.

Nauert averaged 11 points per game and was second in the county in steals (31).

Sawyer Arnold

Junior, South Putnam

Guard

Putnam's most successful shooting specialist, Arnold made the most three-pointers in the county (49) and shot a respectable 34.3 percent behind the arc.

He tied for the team lead in points (13.4) and added 40 assists and 23 steals.

All-County team: honorable mention

Logan Pell

Senior, South Putnam

Guard

Pell led the county in assists with 92. While he's a respectable shooter, Pell sacrificed scoring for his team.

Kedrick Collett

Junior, Cloverdale

Guard

Collett made 44 percent of his three-point shots, leading the county by a wide margin, on his way to 7.5 ppg.

Brantson Scott

Sophomore, Cloverdale

Forward

Scott shot 53 percent from the field, mostly on jumpshots, and averged 9.3 points, 5.4 rebounds. He also had 19 steals.

Coach of the year

Troy Burgess

South Putnam

Burgess led the Eagles to their first winning record (12-10) since 2003.

When the team faced early struggles, he adjusted the strategy to a fast-paced attack that played on his teams' strengths and carried them to the sectional final.
