Benefit bowl for Putnam Humane Society March 22

A benefit bowl to raise funds toward helping to reopen the Humane Society of Putnam County is set for Friday, March 22 at A 'n J Bowl in Greencastle.

Open bowling will be available from 5-9 p.m. at the local lanes, 1250 S. Jackson St. A percentage of the evening's proceeds will be donated by Garry and Valerie Waters of A 'n J Bowl to the Humane Society of Putnam County.

Donations will also be accepted and be passed along to the local Humane Society effort.

The evening is sponsored by Round Barn Manor Apartments, which invites everyone to join them for a an evening of fun they are calling "The Boston Bowl" in honor of Boston Terriers. To add to the fun, organizers suggest black-and-white attire, of course.
