Rockville man arrested for child pornography

ROCKVILLE -- On Friday afternoon, Indiana State Police detectives from the Putnamville Post were conducting sex offender registry checks in Rockville. During the check of Bradley M. Vandivier, 27, at his residence at 508 N. Erie St. in Rockville, detectives found numerous child pornography images and videos on a laptop computer allegedly owned by Vandivier.

The total number of images are believed to be more than 100 and could be as many as 1,000. The number of videos is believed to be around 50.

A more extensive forensic preview of the laptop in coming days will determine the exact number of images and videos.

Vandivier was charged with Possession of child pornography, Class C felony. There was no bond set and he is currently being held in the Parke County Jail.

Investigating Officers were ISP Detectives First Sgt. Jeff Hearon and Sam Stearley. Assisting was the Parke County Prosecutor's Office.
