The Putnam County Community Foundation will bring Jessica White, president of Jessica White Associates, to Greencastle to give attendees tips on creating signature fundraising events.

The workshop will take place on April 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held at the Inn at DePauw.

White has more than 32 years of fundraising and nonprofit management experience, and has provided expertise to all types of non-profit organizations. She has been a featured instructor and lecturer at local, state and national levels.

During the workshop White will explain how to choose the right event for your organization and how to budget so the event actually makes money. She will provide examples of special event tools to help relieve the stress of planning an event.

In describing her workshop, she said, "The goal of this workshop is to help you be so organized that you enjoy the event as much as your guests!"

Coordinated by the Putnam County Community Foundation and the Montgomery County Community Foundation, the workshop is sponsored by the Bonner Scholar Program of DePauw University, and the cost is $25 or $15 if registered and paid by April 1.

The cost includes the workshop, a catered lunch and all workshop materials. To register, persons may contact Vicki Kirby in the Community Foundation office at 653-4978 or vkirby@pcfoundation.org.
