Patricia L. Marcum

Patricia L. Marcum, 61, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1951 in Sacramento, Calif., to James Richard Kilmer and Eloise Smith Kilmer.

Pat was a supervisor at Putnam County Comprehensive Services, where she was a dedicated employee for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Clarence and Eva Smith, grandson Richard Darnell Evans and brother Rick Kilmer.

Surviving are her children, Cheryl Evans and husband Richard, Teresa Miller and husband Keith, Keri Coates, and Heidi Wilson; two sisters, Valeri Halpin and Michelle Lake; an aunt, Jean Smith; four grandchildren, Jazzmyn Marcum, Jaylen Evans, Dakota Coates and Amelia Otto; her beloved dog Bruzer; and many friends.

Pat was an awesome cook. She loved to fish and cherished spending time with family and friends.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 5 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Troy Trout officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
