Shirley Ann Begley, 75, of Reelsville, passed away unexpectedly Friday April 5, 2013, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, Brazil.

She was born Dec. 2, 1937 in Greencastle, the daughter of Oscar and Ruby (Hill) King.

She married Walter Begley on June 5, 1971, and he survives.

Together with her husband they pastored two churches; one in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and the other in Andrews, S.C.

She was a prayer warrior, enjoyed teaching Sunday school and evangelizing the gospel to others.

She was preceded in death by two children, Nancy Rodgers and Timothy Higgins; a grandson, Chris Ford; and siblings Gary King, Jerry King, Edgar King, Karen Jean King, Mary Phillips and Frank King.

Her survivors include her husband Walter; five children, Robin Sue Heineman (Robert), Vickey Ann Higgins, Linda Buchanan, Judy Ford and Clarence Higgins; son-in-law Dino Rodgers; grandchildren Andrew, Denson, Jennifer, Robert, Jason, Matt, Drew, Wren, Joey and Ric; siblings Bud, Donnie, Harvey, Bobby, Pat, Sharon, Audene and Sue, as well as many extended family members.

Services will be conducted at the Family Worship Center, Brazil, at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 with Pastor Larry Richmond officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle. Visitation will be at the church Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
