Look, Ma, no cavities

For the 11th consecutive year Friday, Dr. John Hennette and his Greencastle Pediatric Dentistry staff have participated in the national Give Kids a Smile Day program, providing children with free dental services ranging from cleanings to screenings to fillings. Dental assistant Lynn Nelson (above) takes X-rays on 10-year-old Valerie Pham Mau-Don, while Dr. Hennette checks nine-year-old Samuel Gorham's mouth for any signs of tooth decay. Both youngsters attend Tzouanakis Intermediate School in Greencastle. The dental office saw 24 children during the free event on Friday.
