NP beats Cloverdale, keeps conference record intact

CLOVERDALE -- The North Putnam softball team recovered from its first adversity of the season to get a win at West Central Conference opponent Cloverdale on Monday, 7-5.

NPHS sophomore Sabrina Surber threw a complete game and earned the decision.

Cloverdale's Katt Raisor took the loss.

The Cougars (6-1, 3-0) were challenged in the back-and-forth game.

Cloverdale will a chance for redemption on Tuesday when the teams square off at North Putnam, beginning at 5 p.m.
