ROACHDALE -- The Cloverdale varsity baseball team hit the road Saturday, but still played host to the Covenant Christian Warriors.

With the Clovers' home field soggy from last week's weather, CHS beat the Warriors 11-1 in six innings at North Putnam High School.

Senior Austin Mannan was again a standout on offense. He had two base hits and an RBI for the Clovers. Junior Tyler Carter was 2-for-4 with a double.

Seniors Cody Carter Brody Pfaff, junior Kade Schroer and freshman Brayden White each had hits.

White earned his first varsity win, throwing a complete game. He allowed three hits and one earned run while striking out six and walking three.

The Clovers (7-2, 4-1 WCC) are scheduled to host Cascade on Monday at 7 p.m., then play at Cascade on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
