DePauw women clinch NCAC titles

DePauw's women seem motivated.

Led by Paige Gooch's two-round 149 including a 74 today, the fourth-ranked DePauw women's golf team totaled a 632 and won the first of two North Coast Athletic Conference Championships by 17 strokes over runner-up Wittenberg at the Granville Golf Course.

Having already wrapped up its first North Coast Athletic Conference championship, the DePauw softball team concluded conference play with a doubleheader split at Kenyon. The Tigers dropped the opener by a 3-2 score in nine innings before taking a 7-1 win in the nightcap.

DPU will host hte NCAC tournament this weekend.

The DPU women's tennis team beat Denison 5-4 on Sunday to clinch the NCAC tournament championship.
