Freda K. Haltom, 90, of Cloverdale, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 9, 1922 in Oaklandon and was the daughter of the late Fred Herman and Pearl Estella (Offenbacker) Day.

Freda was a member of the Millgrove United Methodist Church and a member of the former Quincy Methodist Church and Ladies Aid Society and the Harrison Township Extension Club.

She was a homemaker and a nurse's aide at the Cloverdale Community Healthcare.

Freda is survived by her children, Vicki Albitz of Cloverdale, Betty Brummett of Greencastle, Judie Gove of Noblesville, Debra Gruener and husband Bill of Cloverdale and Rob Haltom and wife Angie of Quincy; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild..

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband Renos E. Haltom, her sisters, Kathleen Louise Herron and Barbara L. Frazier; and her brothers, Elbert C. "Biggen" Day, Gordon Day, Leo Day, Estel Wilburn Day, Walter Glen Day, Harold Robert Day, Kenneth Harvey "Hap" Day and Leon W. Day.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, May 3 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
