Rotary Club to host Toasting the Community event on May 10

The Rotary Club of Greencastle will host Toasting the Community, a fundraising event scheduled for Friday, May 10.

Purpose of the 6-9 p.m. event is to raise funds to benefit the many organizations supported by Rotary. Some of those groups include the American Red Cross, Relay for Life, Mary Allison Children's Trust, Polio Plus and The Castle.

The event will provide an opportunity to sample beer, wine, food, bakery items and coffee, all provided by local Indiana businesses.

A silent auction and entertainment provided by Steve St. Pierre and Company and Jared Wells will top off the evening.

The event is open to those 21 and over and will take place at the home of Victor and Linda Hunter, known as Airy Knob, located at 3645 S. CR 200 West, Greencastle.

Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased in advance by contacting Carol Steele or the Rotary Club of Greencastle.

Rotary, the world's first service club, was formed in 1905. Its main objective is service in the community, in the workplace and around the globe.
