'Through the Lens' 2013 meet and greet, exhibit opening set

The Putnam County Museum will be holding two events to celebrate the 2012-13 Putnam County Through the Lens program and its participants.

Through the Lens is a community-based art project that allows Putnam County residents to express the love of their home through photography. The photos they have taken over the last eight months will be on display at the Putnam County Museum.

On Monday, May 6 Eli's Books and Starbucks will be hosting a "Meet and Greet" event with the photographers from 5-7 p.m. as a chance for community members to meet the participants in this year's program and chat about their photos over coffee.

The official exhibit opening at the Putnam County Museum will be Tuesday, May 7 at 6 p.m.

The final photographs will be unveiled in the Art Walk at the Museum for visitors to view.
