Lina Violet Morell

Lina Violet Morell, 99, of Spencer passed away at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital at Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon, May 5, 2013.

She was born in Terre Haute on May 20, 1913 to George W. and Lora Richter Harpold.

She was a member of Old Cuba Church near Cataract.

She married Cecil Nevins and he passed away in May 1950. Later she married Ralph Morell, and he passed away in 1983.

Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Irish of Spencer; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Agnes Wright of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Round Hill Cemetery on Ephler Avenue and State Road 135, south of Indianapolis.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington St., Ladoga.
