Thursday, May 16, 2013

Old National Banking Center Manager Stephanie Skinner presents Matthew White with a $1,000 Community Matters Scholarship in a presentation at the bank. White, the son of Sue and Richard White of Greencastle, was chosen from applications submitted from the 19 banking centers within the Northwest Region. White plans to attend a Midwest Christian college to major in computer engineering. His future goals encompass Old National's community service mission to "improve the quality of life in our communities." White, whose Boy Scout involvement has taught him to lead, try new things, set goals, persevere and serve his community, is currently completing his Eagle Scout project. High school seniors or current college students who hold an Old National Kid$ Start savings account or student checking account were eligible to apply for the scholarship for post-secondary education. Throughout Old National's footprint, 11 students will be awarded a $1,000 Community Matters Scholarship.
