Relay for Life truck and tractor pull

A truck and tractor pull will benefit Relay for Life on Saturday, June 1 at the Greencastle Fairgrounds.

The event will begin with tractors at 2 p.m. There will be a $25 hook fee. The event is open to antique pro-stock tractors in 4,550, 5,550, 6,500 and 7,500 pound weight classes as well as open farm stock tractors in 9,500 and 12,500 weight classes. There is a 20.8 tire and safety equipment limit.

Trucks will weigh-in at 5 p.m. with a $30 hook fee. Classes include 6,500 pound 4x4 street stock gas, cast in and out with no hanging weights, 6,500 pound altered stock gas (no sanctioned trucks), 8,200 pound street stock diesel with no hanging weights, front stack or sanctioned trucks.

All seven classes of the Indiana Truck Pullers Association will also be included. Any questions on the truck pull contact Britany Greene at 812-798-5953.

The grandstand fee will be $12 with kids 10 and under being free. There will be concessions as well as an opportunity to take pictures with ITPA trucks from 5-7 p.m. at a rate of $5 per picture.
