Austin Mannan
Senior, CHS
Catcher

Mannan led the county in most offensive categories but his role as one of the Clovers' senior leaders helped lift his team to a school record for wins.

Mannan hit .489 with 8 home runs and 42 RBIs.

Justin Wilson
Senior, CHS
Pitcher/Shortstop

Wilson set school records for wins in a single season (11) and in a career (22). He led the county with a 1.74 ERA and 97 strikeouts.

He also hit .353, scored 29 runs and stole 10 bases.

Cody Carter
Senior, CHS
Third base

Carter finished third on his team -- and in the county -- with a .418 batting average. He also tied for third in the county with three home runs and drove in 27 RBIs.

Pitching, he had a 2.10 ERA and 35 Ks in 26.2 IP.

Will Andersen
Senior, CHS
Centerfield

Andersen was a do-it-all performer for the Clovers his first few years, but shifted to centerfield as a senior and used his speed to sure up the defense.

He hit .353 and added eight stolen bases.

Tyler Carter
Junior, CHS
Shortstop

Carter finished second in the county with a .422 average and drove in 13 RBIs as the No. 5 hitter for the Clovers.

His strong arm helped the team as a shortstop and a pitcher. He was 4-2 with a 3.41 ERA.

Tyler Long
Junior, SPHS
Catcher

Long was a force for the Eagles. His powerful arm helped the squad on defense and on the mound, but his bat carried the team.

He hit .375 and was second in the county with four home runs.

Kyler Badten
Senior, NPHS
Pitcher/Shortstop

Badten had a smooth glove for the Cougars and calmed the team on the mound. He posted a 2.50 ERA and a 5-1 record against stiff competition.

He also hit .373 with 25 RBIs and 22 steals.

Jake Haste
Senior, NPHS
Pitcher/Utility

Haste was the Cougars do-everything player. He posted a 8-2 record on the mound and filled in defensively for whatever position was need.

He hit .405 with three home runs and led the county with 25 steals.

Michael Herrmann
Senior, NPHS
Second base

Herrmann had a slick and consistent glove at second base and provided a solid bat.

He hit .375 and drove in 27 RBIs. He was third in the county with 35 runs scored.

Brody Perrine
Senior, NPHS
Centerfield

Perrine was second on the Cougars in home runs (2) and hit .329.

A solid centerfielder, he also filled in as an emergency catcher. He had 14 RBIs, the most of any leadoff hitter in the county.

Seth Brown
Junior, GHS
Pitcher

Brown emerged from a crowded pack to become the Tiger Cubs' top pitcher. He had a 2.05 ERA in 30.2 innings and posted a 41-17 strikeout-walk ratio.

He also batted .278 and had seven RBIs.

Tanner Nicholson
Sophomore, GHS
Shortstop

Nicholson led the Tiger Cubs with a .353 average , three doubles and led the county with two triples.

Despite hitting no home runs, he was second on his team in slugging.

Cole Pohlar
Senior, GHS
Outfield

Pohlar tied for the Greencastle-lead in RBIs with 10 and hit .344 with two doubles and a triple.

He was second on his team with 12 steals and first in on-base percentage at .400.

Brandon Gierke
Freshman, GHS
DH/Catcher

Despite his youth, Gierke became the Tiger Cubs' top hitter by posting a .378 average. He also hit the team's only home run.

Gierke spend most of the season as a DH but filled in as catcher.

Coach of the Year

Brian Archer
Cloverdale

Archer led the Clovers to the most wins in school history (22), despite having to replace five players from last year's team. The Clovers' offseason work showed on the field as Archer motivated the group to work all winter.
