Foundation's annual meeting sweetened by chocolate box raffle
The Putnam County Community Foundation's annual meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 19 at the Dixie Chopper Business Center. Support from North Salem State Bank, Collins Evans and Wabash Capital will create the tropical-themed evening.
In addition, Jenny Sullivan, owner of Eitel's Florist and Mark Tarner, owner of South Bend Chocolate Company, are teaming up to donate 125 boxes of chocolates and other goodies for a raffle.
Those who purchase a box of chocolate and attend the annual meeting will have a chance to win either a Citizens Eco-Drive Watch donated by Steve Mason, owner of Mason Jewelers, or a Holland Maverick Grill donated by Bill and Brent Shuee, owners of Shuee and Sons.
The boxes of chocolate are available for $10 each or $25 for three. Tickets to the annual dinner are available for $35 per person. Contact the Community Foundation at 653-4978.
All boxes of chocolate will be opened at the end of the Annual Meeting in a fun reveal ceremony. Proceeds from the raffle support the Community Foundation's Administrative Endowment and the long-term security of the organization.
