High Lonesome Sound

Wednesday, June 12, 2013
Bringing their southern Indiana stringband sound to Greencastle's Robe Ann Park, the White Lightning Boys perform an instrumental piece at Tuesday's second installment of ParkFest. Performing classics like the traditional "John Hardy" and John Prine's ode to a lost hometown and childhood "Paradise," the six-piece brought the great musicianship that characterizes bluegrass to the Bob Flanigan Bandshell. Also onstage Tuesday night was Martinsville-based Homebrew Holler. The June 18 installment of the concerts will feature Craig Brenner as well as the Tad Robinson Trio.
