Dave Nolton, 65, Poland, passed away on June 13, 2013 at Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle. He was born on Jan. 13, 1948 in Anderson and was the son Carl E. and Doris M. (Hawkins) Nolton.

He married Debbie (Herrington) Nolton and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Miranda Ward and husband Reggie, his grandchildren, Justice and Chole Ward and his mother Doris M. Nolton, Anderson.

He retired as a Sergeant from the United States Marine Corps. He also retired from the United States Postal Service and was a former town manager for the Town of Cloverdale. He was a board member of the Owen County Zoning Board and Cataract Water.

He was a member and Past Master of Masonic Lodge #132, F. & A. M., Cloverdale, a member of O. E. S. # 304, Bowling Green, was a former member of the Terre Haute Valley of The Scottish Rite, Zorah Temple of A.A.O.M.S., Terre Haute, The American Legion and the NRA.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at the Cloverdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17 from 4- 8 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Masonic Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Jon Nolton.
