Pancake fundraiser highlights July 4 morning at park

From early risers to late sleepers, anyone will have the chance to enjoy pancakes in Robe Ann Park on the morning of July 4.

The third annual Pancakes for Parks and Pathways breakfast is set for 7-11 a.m. at Shelter No. 1.

The breakfast is $5 for all-you-can eat pancakes along with sausage and a choice of coffee, juice or milk.

Kids seven years and younger eat free.

Also taking place that morning in the park will be the 22nd annual Mike Rokicki Memoral 5K Road Run at 8 a.m. (registration at 7 a.m.), Zumba by Dance Workshop from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and the Helping Pawz Dog Fashion Show at 10 a.m. (9:30 registration).

All proceeds from the pancake breakfast will benefit Greencastle Civic League Splash Park project and People Pathways projects.
