Dorothy June Hansell, 81, of Fillmore, passed away on Tuesday night, July 23, 2013 in the Putnam County Hospital.

Born Feb. 10, 1932 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Augustus Kelley and Zora (Spears) Kelley. She married Hertis A. Hansell and he survives.

Survivors include her husband; a son, David A. Hansell and wife Sherry of Fillmore; a granddaughter, Duston Rae Spencer and husband Ron of Fillmore; a grandson, David J. Hansell of Fillmore; a great-granddaughter, Bronwyn Paige Spencer of Fillmore; a sister, Barbara Robinson of Reelsville; a special niece, Patricia Blanton of Brazil; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, son Ray Hansell and siblings Mildred Evans, Mitch Kelley, A.G. "George" Kelley, Maxine Fuller, Aileen Kolwaski and Virginia Derbyshire all preceded her in death.

Dorothy had worked for 17 years as a cashier for Kroger. She also worked 10 years as a leasing agent for Roundbarn Manor and two years at Beltone. She was a member of the Greencastle Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her hobby was gardening.

There will be a memorial service at a later date at the Greencastle Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
