Water main break in Roachdale shuts off water to town

ROACHDALE -- A water main break near Roachdale Elementary has disrupted service for the town. The water tower has been shut down until further notice. No information was available on the cause of the break at this time.

Once water service is returned, residents will be on a boil-water order until notified that drinking water is safe.

A boil notice means that residents will have to boil water meant for consumption for at least one minute to kill all bacteria that might be present.
