City Police

Two recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

-- At 8:52 p.m. Wednesday, Mark Stevens, 36, Danville, was arrested on Bloomington Street by Reserve Officer David Clodfelter.

Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Stevens was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

Stevens registered a .153 percent blood-alcohol content under BAC testing.

-- At 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Scott Morgan, 42, Martinsville, was arrested at the Putnam County Courthouse by Sgt. Terry Eastham.

Arrested on a Putnam County warrant, Morgan was lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

Two speeding citations were issued recently by Officer Nick Eastham.

-- At 12:15 a.m. Thursday, Eastham cited Elizabeth Watts, 50, Crawfordsville, for 51 mph in a 30-mph zone on Bloomingon Street, south of Martinsville Street.

-- At 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, Michael Mims, 20, Lakeview, Ala., was ticketed for 53 mph in a 30-mph zone on Bloomingon Street, south of Martinsville Street.
