Saturday's fourth annual Children's Miracle Network car show featured a record 171 entries and best-ever public attendance. Best in Show was Mark Clensy with a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. Peoples Choice Award went to Rusty Hitch with a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. General Manager's Choice was won by Lanny Jones with a 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne. The inaugural Rick Fulford Memorial award went to Brian Morgan with a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS. Other awards included Best Import, Brand Selvia, 1974 Beetle; Best Truck, Steve Greeson, 1967 Chevrolet; Best Mopar, Ron Dickerson, 2008 Hurst Challenger; Best Ford, Ralph and Peggy Crum, 1935 Ford Coupe; Best GM, 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air; and Survivor Award, Delmar Water, 1930 Ford Model A. Cars came from as far away as Mishawaka and many local entries led by the Bent Rods Car Club of Cloverdale, which captured the Club Participation Award. Records also were broken Saturday in concessions, games and public donations. Next year's show will be Aug. 16.
