Glee Oleta Huddleston

Glee Oleta Huddleston, 84, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013.

Born Dec. 4, 1928 in West Baden, she was the daughter of Charles and Ida (Sult) Vickrey. She was married to Marion Huddleston for more than 60 years. He preceded her in death.

Glee was an inspector with the Ethyl Corporation for over 35 years, retiring in 1991. Glee and Marion worked together to rehab four houses, helping four families to make a home in Putnam County. She was a member of the Clinton Falls Community Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol L. Drotziger; granddaughter Catharine Celli; grandson James Minard; two great grandchildren, Olivia Celli and Torin Hasse; a niece, Sonia Hupp and husband Charlie; and sister-in-law Betty Randal and husband Darryl.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a sister, Edith Webb.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 16 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Sparks officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
