Here today, gone today ...

The abandoned, dilapidated house at the northeast corner of Indiana and Columbia streets comes crashing down Monday morning with Joe Spiker of Spiker Excavating at the controls of an excavator. In about an hour, the building was turned into a pile of rubble to be hauled away.

  • The house on Washington St. next to our high schools tennis courts, has been sitting empty for many years. The grass is mowed, but the house is deterating. I would like to see it sold and used. It is a shame it has been left to rot
