SEYMOUR -- The Cloverdale girls' golf team had its lowest team score of the season on Monday and finished second to Owen Valley in a three-team that also included North Putnam.

Cloverdale's 217 was led by low scores by Harlee Fuetter (48) and MaKayla Moore (51). Owen Valley finished at 190. North Putnam's two golfers, Olivia Zarate and Jessie Cox both shot 58.

"It's always good to go away from your home course and shoot a season-best," Cloverdale coach Matthew Langdon said. "The course tonight was a short course but it had some challenging shots with a lot of water and hills."

Anna Spencer finished at 58 for Cloverdale, followed by Izzy Wardlow (60), Abbie Speas (61) and Kelsey Nees (68).

Katrina Dayhuff and Kendall Arnold of Owen Valley tied for medalist with both shooting a 44.

The Clovers returned to the course on Tuesday at Plainfield. Their next match is next Tuesday at South Vermillion at 5 p.m.

North Putnam's next match is Thursday at Monrovia at 4:30 p.m.
