Cloverdale remains winless after Clay City match

CLAY CITY -- The Cloverdale volleyball team lost at Clay City on Tuesday, 25-18, 25-21, 23-25, 25-6.

The Clovers (0-4) had contributions throughout the roster. Senior Lindsay Robson led the team with 26 digs, junior Jessica Winders had 22 assists and junior Lexi Branneman had 14 kills.

"We are making small improvements each match," CHS coach Kathy Moore said. "This team has a big heart and we had some terrific saves (Tuesday) night."

Cloverdale's third chance of the week to pick up its first win comes Thursday at West Vigo at 7:30 p.m.
