Annual Senior Fair slated for Sept. 10 at county fairgrounds

The annual Putnam County Senior Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Putnam County 4-H Fairgrounds.

An assortment of vendors will be available to present information about needs of senior citizens regarding health, assisted living options, home care and hospice, as well as financial, legal, safety and other issues important to them.

Throughout the day, senior citizens are invited to visit the vendors and have a variety of health screenings including flu shots provided by Indiana Home Care Plus Inc.

Free bingo with prizes, complimentary lunch of pulled pork or chicken salad, cash drawings of $200, $100 and $50 are available for seniors at the fair.

The public is welcome to enjoy information, live entertainment, and possibly win a vendor gift.

The Putnam County Senior Center volunteers will host the event with auctioneer Jeff Rich serving as master of ceremonies.
