Greencastle grad to make home debut for IUPUI on TV

INDIANAPOLIS -- Greencastle High School alumnus Evan Smith will make his home collegiate soccer debut on Tuesday for IUPUI. The Jaguars host the Butler Bulldogs and the game will air live on Hometown Sports and News.

The match begins at 7 p.m.

Smith, a 2013 graduate, has started the Jaguars first two preseason games and their regular season opener at the University of Detroit.

Veteran broadcaster Greg Rakestraw will be on the call on Tuesday night and Indianapolis-based WebStream Sports will produce the match. The contest can also be seen via the web on the internet and on mobile devices. This will be the first time in the program's Division I era that home soccer has been televised.

HTSN is seen over the air on channel 6.2 and is available on numerous cable systems in central and southern Indiana. Here's a breakdown on how to see HTSN.

- For Comcast sub-scribers, channel 247.
- For Brighthouse sub-scribers, channel 410.
- For subscribers of Newwave Communications in Brazil, Hendricks and Morgan counties, HTSN is channel 130 or 180.
- Mulberry Telephone Company subsc-ribers can watch HTSN on channel 99
- Central Indiana Communications subscribers in McCords-ville, Sulphur Springs and Knightstown can watch HTSN on 159.
- Cinergy Metro-Net subscribers in Greencastle, Seymour, North Vernon, Wabash, Connersville and New Castle get HTSN on channels 102, 103, 104 or 106, depending on the community.
- TDS Tri-County Communication custo-mers have HTSN on channel 98.2 and Accelplus customers in Crawfordsville can get it on channel 14.
