Krambo's final bike nights of the season set

Wednesday, September 4, 2013

The final two bike nights of riding season are coming up at Krambo's of Greencastle, both of which will give back to the community and include dinner.

The first will be on Thursday, Sept. 5 and will include a short ride to the Reelsville Volunteer Fire Department. Comfort food will be served at the firehouse after 5 p.m.

A $10 donation is asked per person, as the money will go toward helping the fire department purchase new equipment and provide education to the firemen.

Following the meal, riders will take an hour-long ride in scenic Washington Township and will return to Krambo's on U.S. 40 at Manhattan at 8 p.m.

The final ride will occur on Oct. 3 and will benefit the Putnam County FOP Santa Drive. Riders are asked to bring a present or donate money to help those families in need.

Ham, beans and soups will be served at this event.

Riders will then leave Krambo's at 6:30 p.m. for a scenic ride to Cataract Falls and, if time allows, Bell Farm.
