Clovers win at Turkey Run

PENN -- The Cloverdale varsity volleyball team picked up its second win of the season by defeating Turkey Run 25-17, 25-11, 25-12 on Tuesday.

The victory moved the Clovers' record to 2-4 for the year.

"It was a good win for us tonight," CHS coach Kathy Moore said. "Everyone contributed and we worked on some things offensively. I thought we passed the ball well tonight and dug up most everything sent our way."

Lexi Branneman led the team in kills with nine. Jessica Winders had 24 assists and three aces and Megan Helterbrand had nine points.

Cloverdale hosts Greencastle on Thursday for its conference opener. It is also Grandparents' Night.
