Greencastle golfers place second in three-team tune-up

The Greencastle girls' golf team continued its steady recent play on Thursday when it played at Crawfordsville with Northview.

The Tiger Cubs finished second with a team-score of 208 at the nine-hole event. Northview won with a 187 and Crawfordsville shot 239.

Lauren Bridgewater and Lokysa Sheuermann both finished at 49 to lead GHS, but for the second-straight meet the top four Tiger Cubs were within six shots of one-another.

Liz Johnson and Haley Cash both shot 55 and Alexa Newlin finished at 71.

GHS returns to the course on Saturday at the West Central Conference Tournament at Deer Creek Golf Course at 11 a.m.
