Tiger Cubs lose at Terre Haute South

TERRE HAUTE -- The Greencastle volleyball team lost in straight sets at Terre Haute South on Wednesday 25-19, 25-17, 25-15.

The Tiger Cubs were led on offense by junior Quinci Miller, who had seven kills, and sophomore Allison White, who had six.

Junior libero Kennedy Downing led the team with 10 digs and junior Taylor Stoltey had nine digs and 15 assists.

"The girls stuck right with South, but couldn't execute enough points to pull through with a win," GHS coach Maggie Walters said.

The well-traveled Tiger Cubs will be back out west on Thursday when the team plays at West Vigo. The JV game is set to begin at 6 p.m.
