Sweet Treat

The sweet smell of chocolate spoke volumes at the Putnam County Public Library Wednesday night as local chocolatier Anastasia Wells (pouring her creation) conducts a chocolate class in the PCPL Kiwanis Room. About a dozen participants created their own chocolaty treats during the three-hour program, including seven-year-old Mia Kimura, who gets some help from mother Loida Kimura (below, right), in squeezing a caramel creation into a candy mold as Marjorie Schaeffer lends support in the sticky situation.
