* At 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, Fillmore Town Marshal Darrel Bunten, 38, Fillmore, was attempting to make a traffic stop on County Road 100 North in a 2003 Mercury Marauder registered to the Town of Fillmore. The attempted stop was on a 2011 Ford Fusion.

The driver of the Fusiion, Bryan L. Sumila, 29, Bethany, Ill., told Deputy Ronnie Campbell he did not see Bunten's lights or hear his sirens.

Sumila then pulled into the Dixie Chopper parking lot and put the car in reverse to park.

Still not seeing Bunten, Sumila backed into the police car.

Damage was estimated at $1,001-$2,500.

* At 11:48 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, a T-bone collision occurred at the intersection of U.S. 231 and U.S. 36 when a drive apparently disregarded a traffic signal.

Witnesses told Deputy Campbell that Donald G. Gobel, 81, Crawfordsville, got a green light and proceeded southbound across U.S. 36 in a 2011 Chrysler Town & Country.

The witnesses said that Kenneth L. Saiter, 58, Chrisman, Ill., driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, ran the ran light going westbound, hitting Gobel's vehicle on the driver's side.

After striking Gobels van, Saiter's car spun around and hit the eastbound 2012 GMC Sierra driven by Thomas E. Kennedy, 57, Coatesville, which was stopped on the west side of the intersection.

Gobel was transported from the scene with pain to his entire body.

Damage was estimated at $5,001-$10,000.
