Tiger Cubs volleyball wins at West Vigo

TERRE HAUTE -- The Greencastle volleyball team won in straight sets at West Vigo on Thursday 25-21, 27-25, 25-22.

The team was led by it's defense, coach Maggie Walters said.

Junior Kennedy Downing had 16 digs and senior Danielle Thomas had 15. Junior Taylor Stoltey had eight kills and 21 assists.

Sophomore Allison White had eight kills.

The Tiger Cubs needed a little help at the service line in the final two sets, Walters said, and they found it from junior Delanie Stoltey (four aces) and freshman Sarah Miller (two aces).

GHS will continues it's tour of Vigo County on Monday when it plays at Terre Haute North at 7:30 p.m.
