City Police

Three recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

-- At 8:37 p.m. Thursday, Jeffery Everman, 50, Greencastle, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Arrested by Sgt. Charles Inman, Everman was stopped at the entrance to the 911 dispatch center when Inman reportedly saw him struggling to control his motorcycle.

He was lodged in the Putnam County Jail after registering a blood-alcohol content of .129 percent on portable breathalyzer testing.

-- At 6:54 p.m. Thursday, Susan Ewing, 56, Greencastle, was arrested at her residence on Avenue E on three charges.

Lodged in the Putnam County Jail by Officer Matt Huffman, she faces charges of intimidation, disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.

-- At 4:47 p.m. Thursday, Richard Thomas, 37, Coatesville, was arrested at the GPD station on an outstanding Putnam County warrant for forgery.

Taken into custody by Officer Jeff Modlin, Thomas was lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

Sheriff's Department

At 8:05 a.m. Thursday, Megan E. Guthrie was southbound on County Road 300 West in a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria.

As she was driving down a hill and rounding a curve, she lost control of the car, overcorrecting and hitting a tree.

Capt. Danny Wallace reported damage at $2,501-$5,000.
