GCC Annual Fashion Swap event set for Saturday

Sunday, September 22, 2013

Greencastle Christian Church will hold its annual Fashion Swap on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Guests to the event will hear from Troy and Becky Greenlee as they share the story of Becky's miraculous journey from heart attack, to a declaration of "brain death" in January 2012, and finally to a full recovery that impacted the entire community.

An, of course, there is a fashion element to this event as well.

Here's how the Fashion Swap works: Bring the stuff you don't love anymore (clothes, shoes, jewelry, handbags, etc.) to GCC on any day prior to the Fashion Swap or between noon and 12:45 p.m. on the day of the event.

Saturday's attendees can enjoy worship music led by Bobbie Lancaster, the Greenlee message and light food while the GCC event team sets up the shopping area. Then everyone can shop, where everything is free. More music and uplifting words, then even more shopping.

The Greencastle Christian Church Fashion Swap is open to all ladies, age 18 and older, and it is an entirely free event.

Clothing drop-off starts at noon, and the program runs from 1-4 p.m.
