Foundation workshop to focus on marketing plans
The next workshop in the 2013 Nonprofit Learning Series, sponsored by the Putnam County Community Foundation and the Montgomery County Community Foundation, is titled "Creating a Balanced Marketing Plan."
The workshop is set for Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Country Club. Cost of the workshop is $15 if registered and paid by Oct. 7 or $25 at the door.
Laura Edwards, senior director of development for the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, will present methods to help bring an organization's marketing and communications efforts in sync by using a balanced plan.
During the workshop, Edwards will explain how to create an integrated marketing plan that uses both traditional methods as well as new channels through social media.
The Nonprofit Learning Series is designed to enrich and advance nonprofit associations, organizations, churches and units of government. The cost includes the workshop, a catered lunch and all workshop materials.
