City Police
Two recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.
At 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wesley N. January, 22, Greencastle, was arrested at his 1001 S. Indiana St. residence by Officer Albert Epple.
January, who refused to provide Epple with his name, was charged with refusal to identify himself, a Class C misdemeanor; deception, a Class A misdemeanor; and theft/conversion, also a Class A misdemeanor.
January was booked into the Putnam County Jail as John Doe but appeared in Putnam Superior Court Wednesday under his real name.
Authorities allege January bypassed the city water meter and installed a piece of metal pipe to illegally obtain water service from the City of Greencastle.
-- At 5:54 p.m. Tuesday, Christopher Michael Farrell, 20, Mooresville, was arrested at the Putnam County Courthouse on a felony warrant for petition to revoke probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Farrell, who was lodged in the Putnam County Jail, was arrested by Officer Jeff Modlin.
One recent traffic citation was written by city officers.
-- At 11:10 p.m. Monday, Clynt Agee, 22, Poland, was ticketed by Officer Nick Eastham at Bloomington and Seminary streets for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.
