Tiger Cubs, Eagles get sectional bye

The Greencastle and South Putnam boys' tennis teams will both begin their postseasons on Thursday at Northview High School.

The two schools both got a first-round by in the Indiana High School Athletic Association tournament.

South Putnam is set to take on South Vermillion at 4:30 p.m.

Greencastle's opponent is not yet established. Owen Valley plays Northview on Wednesday with the winner set to take on the Tiger Cubs on Thursday.

The sectional championship is Friday at 4:30 p.m. All matches are scheduled outdoors at Northview High School. DePauw University is traditionally the indoor alternative if there are weather concerns.
