Firehouse Funhouse For a Day

As dozens of local youngsters and their parents visit the Greencastle Fire Department (GFD) station Tuesday night for the annual GFD open house, the cab of a Greencastle truck is turned into a girls' clubhouse as Emilee Jordan (above, left), 8, and Lauren Dibble, 6, explore the sights and sounds from their perch above South Indiana Street. The girls are both students at Ridpath Primary School.

Meanwhile, inside the rear compartment of the cab, little Chance Glass, tries valiantly to buckle himself into his seat. Chance, 3, is the son of Christy and Doug Glass.
