PCH celebrates Emergency Department Team Week

Emergency Department Team Week will be observed Oct. 6-12 at Putnam County Hospital.

It is a week set aside annually to show appreciation and gratitude to those folks who choose to work in one of the most stressful, fast-paced environments of a hospital.

Putnam County Hospital is honored to staff highly-trained, experienced and compassionate Emergency Department personnel, officials noted.

Many of the PCH employees have worked in emergency medicine greater than 20 years.

They have received training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, Trauma Nursing Core Course, and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, to name just a few.
