Edna M. Cook

Edna M. Cook, 80, of Reelsville, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on June 1, 1933 at Greencastle, and was the daughter of the late John Roy and Helen Marie (Klebush) Ash.

She married Richard R. "Ronnie" Cook on Nov. 21, 1981 and he survives.

She is also survived by her children, Sarah (Albright) Anderson Young, Reelsville, Anthony Albright, Greencastle, and Todd Cook, Reelsville; her brothers, Gene Ash and wife Shirley, John Ash and wife Libby and Joe Ash and wife Lorretta; her grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Joshua Anderson, Lauren Grissom and Craig Grissom; and her great-granddaughter, Hailie Marie Anderson.

She was a retired telephone operator for General Telephone at Greencastle and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Eddie Ash.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
